At no time in history has it been more important for everyone to have the tools needed to understand the media environment that surrounds us. Sapience Publishing is dedicated to making the ideas of media studies more easily accessible to more people.

Our textbooks and accompanying essays, videos and study guides are ideal for students at the community college level and for first- and second-year university students. They also are appropriate for students who are at the high school level, and are ideal for teaching media and communications to returning students who are coming to college later in life.

I spent 20 years as a mainstream newspaper reporter, writing award-winning investigative articles and feature stories that were made into major Hollywood films. I spent that career telling complex, detailed stories in ways that general audiences found understandable and entertaining.

My goal with Sapience Publishing is to bring that approach to you and your students.
