Thanks for taking a moment to review my CV.
I have taught in the classroom since 2004, at schools from California State University, Los Angeles, to UCLA Extension and at community colleges in Santa Monica, Rancho Cucamonga, Glendora and Pasadena in Southern California.
I have taught mostly on the ground, and have taught online and have taken courses in online teaching via the Canvas platform.
My expertise is in mass media studies, interpersonal communications and writing for journalism. Prior to teaching, I worked full-time as an investigative reporter, and won awards for my work in that field. I've had a story turned into a Dreamworks movie, and still report and write in the fields of motorsports and business.
Today, power comes from the ability to communicate and to accurately understand messages from others, individual or mass media. My experience and education has taught me how to do these things, and how to pass that knowledge to my students and to assist other instructors in doing so.
